Having recently fallen back into the world of internet (a.k.a. have a moment of freetime), i am typing. Recent experiences have been frequently miraculous, like going from a worship service to a streamed prayer meeting [thecall CA] and having the same song going at both. (well, sort of, but the transition was relatively seamless from the perspective of what was playing in my head.)
I have recently been able to get my hands back into music a bit (which i really enjoy), have been writing (on paper mostly), and fighting the never-ending battle against production servers, workstations, the software that is supposed to work with them, and my former laptop. Former because it is now deceased. [Dell d600, way beyond warranty, reduced to blinking the capslock 10 times and PO - not a total loss though, already scavenging bits of it to revive other dysfunctional equipment.]
Had something i wrote published on a college/career group newsletter.
So life is awesome. Except IE, which does not have an integrated spellcheck - even in version 7. I wonder if the 8 beta that is out has it. Firefox has had it for at least the last 2 versions.
I'm going linux or something if i get another laptop. Provided i can connect to a cisco VPN with it. (which shouldn't be a problem, just a minor learning experience. Connecting with a VPN client has /got/ to be easier than setting up a vpn server.
