The creator of the morning turns on the dawn each day and the sky blazes fire
as the sun paints a crack at the horizon of the dark of the night.

Good Morning, Creator,
My life's sustainer.
Glory your name, Earth Maker, Sky Tamer,

Your hands hold the breeze,
Your words lift the sun,
Your heart heats my want to seek you,
until our hearts beat as one.

And you hold up the day
so all should sing you praise,
and you paint night so lightly
so your seekers lives melt to your face.

And when dawn and sunset smears,
your name you scrawl across the heavens.
signed unspeakable, so clearly legible,
so undenyably you, so undenyably wonderful.

Then with lightning the sun
blazes over the skyline,
and a new day has begun,
as my life is embraced by the Most Holy One.
