Cloak

-1/9911104.20

Immortality is my cloak
The Light of Glory is my Hope
Amid fiery splendor and brilliant color
The final end turns to the coming of the Lord
In roaring thunder the sky turns to ribbons
Like a rising tide creation worships in reverence
In bright golden splendour the Lord of Glory comes down
And the broken, torn sky flashes like heaven's own crown
Then clear trumpet blasts flow out over the world
Calling all to worship with their lives and their words

My cloak trails behind me as I walk into each day
My cloak twirls, enfolding, as I dance the Lord's way
Forever is to short to be with my Lord
So begin and start now, and live beyond this painned world
And so the earth crumbles beneath me
As the sky tumbles from overhead
Like ants the men flee as the rocks crush them all dead
All the while I live forever in Love
More closer to God, more fuller above
The Immortal God I must wear through each day
And let His immortal hands simply carry me away.
