Confide in me your honor, confide in me your glory
Grace my life in Jesus, stand me to the keeping of your word.
Teach me the confidence of your love,
the shamelessness to pour out your mercy.
Connect your heart to the paths of my being,
Your light to my very ambition.
By your breath bring wind, forge my deeds of Truth.
Build my heart of Love, and my wisdom of your will.
In all my understanding be honored fully.
In all of my heart reveal your own,
that my life be glory to your praise,
and every breath be witness of living worship.
May the amazing wonder of the creatures who cannot turn away
spur my heart to seek your face,
through famine, flame, sword, and driving storm.
May the elders who fall bowing stand up my heart
to bear the mark of Heaven's kingdom.
And may the King be honored by my service
so all love not burn in vain.
His hands to hold me, my heart to sing -
Confide in me, Lord willing, confide in me God's heart.
