What is this consuming fire?
which burns away the "me"
I have surrounded myself with?
Who is this One
who answers by fire,
consuming wood, water, stone, and earth?
Who is this King of Glory?
Who is this king who consumes,
engulfing His enemies?
Who is this, whom the highest angels
burn to adore?
He is my King
He is to me
to wrap my heart around Him!
He is worthy!
He is faithful!
God, heal my eyes
my desires, my light!
Cleanse me whole
and pure before you!
Rain your Glory upon
like never felt before!
Lord, You are my King
You are to me
to wrap my heart around You!
You are unquestionably worthy!
You are unwaveringly faithful!
Jesus
By You I am righteous,
By Your blood I am cleansed,
By Your love am I forgiven.
It is in You that I am truly thankful.
