Loyalty of Heart


If you have been given a standard to live by,
through the training of life
or of divine intervention,
do not change it
unless God Himself asks you to.
The King we serve is worthy
of every life,
and loyalty between the individual
and this King is worth
far more than feelings,
heartbreak, desire,
death, torture,
or any height or depth of emotion.

The King chooses His children,
and as His chosen,
no one of us should bear any regret
to maintain an ordinance
He has drawn upon our heart.

It is fidelity of mettle
which bears clarity in its resound.
The face reflected is that of whom you serve,
not a visage of your own.
Bear in yourself no shame to carry
the King's face in your heart,
and His sign upon your life.

Seek no honour but His alone,
stand in no respect,
save to the glory of His throne.
Carry His standard without relent,
and desire no pact with any
who would work to its disgrace.

Bear in your chest a heart set on Him,
Your Father is my King.
If any hold no homage to my liege-
then let them begone from me.

Draw no encouragement from these words,
unless you know by fact of mind,
and by fact of heart
that these words are Truth Eternal.
